KUALA LUMPUR, 30TH JANUARY 2022 – Not once, not twice but our young Malaysians do it again for the third time!
Three students from different states in Malaysia put together a 24-hour virtual carnival to impact #onemillionteens.16-year-old Nurin Adha Damia from Negeri Sembilan; 16-year-old Mohd Haziq Aqil from Sarawak; and 14-year-old Azhana Shafwani from Sabah; who is also known as Ascendance Ambassadors, organized the Ascendance Carnival that garnered 2,800 total views for a common goal of building the next generation.

“That is the whole reason why we wanted to have this 24-hour carnival in the first place. To show everyone what Gen Z’s can do and highlight the amazing people behind the scenes of Ascendance who are constantly running different shows, programs, and activities for all of you to get inspired, figure out what you love doing, and start crafting your own journey,” said Harsha Ravindran, Chief Executive Officer of Ascendance, during the finale of the Ascendance Carnival. Harsha also hosted an episode of her US-based talk show during the Ascendance Carnival called Changing Reality with guest speaker, Doan Nguyen, Co-President of the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club.

The trio was given the Ascendance Ambassadors role three months ago as they showcased tremendous growth in handling responsibilities, communicating with different generations, and their drive to spread the TheTeenageEntrepreneur.com platform to more students.
The organizing team for the carnival consisted of on-screen emcees and behind-the-scenes supporters who worked hard to make this virtual carnival a success. This amazing organizing team was students themselves, as they were Ascendance Apprentices aged 7 to 20 years old from various states across Malaysia.
