KUALA LUMPUR, 16TH APRIL 2022 – The ‘Backstage Spotlight’ programme organized by the international youth movement, Ascendance, got renewed for a second season by the Malaysian Ministry of Education and is back with more inspiring stories of successful individuals around the world.
‘Episode 2: Media Madness’ of the brand new season featured young and trending radio announcers from Hitz, Ili Ruzanna and Keanu Azman. More than five hundred viewers listened to the duos answer some behind-the-scenes questions on what goes on in their lives as onscreen media personalities.
“It is not about winning. It is about getting the experience, learning from it and striving from it,” said Keanu Azman, also popularly known as the host of ‘That 20s Show’ on Hitz.
When asked about handling hate comments in their career, Ili Ruzanna answered, “The less you care about what people say about you, the more invincible you become. Imagine how powerful you are if words don’t even break you because you are so focused on trying to make yourself better and trying to be the best version of yourself that you don’t even see them anymore. The only people you see are the people who support you, people who are there for you and that is the most important thing for me.”.
