The author of ‘Money Matter$ – The Guide to Finance & Life for Gen Zs’ created a buzz when her e-book and audiobook of the same title were launched at the largest entrepreneurship club at the University of Pennsylvania.
“I am very grateful to Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club for the opportunity to share my book with your students and fellow entrepreneurs. Impacting youngsters in finance has always been a part of me and I am honoured to be able to do it on a global scale,” said Mathura Kannan, who also received the Diana Award in 2019 by the Diana Foundation in the United Kingdom for the social efforts and humanitarian work of her start-up, Ascendance.

Hosted by WUEC, many aspiring entrepreneurs and authors across the campus tuned in for the virtual book launch. Students had the opportunity to listen and speak to the author, who is also a finance professional and entrepreneur that founded Ascendance, the global youth movement that impacted over 35,000 people across 28 countries.
‘Money Matter$ – The Guide to Finance & Life for Gen Zs’ was recently nominated for the Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (MAIA) under their “Best Book” category.
The book captures Mathura’s experiences over the last seven years of building Ascendance to global heights, advising small and medium businesses in their finances and balancing her finances as a young adult with college, friends and her career.
