NETHERLANDS, 25TH APRIL 2022 – ‘Feel Alive’, the hit song by Malaysian born singer-songwriter, Heerraa, charted #1 this week on Pinguin Radio’s ‘2 Minuten Show’, Europe’s number one indie/alternative web radio station.
Pinguin Radio is a 24 hours online radio station based in the Netherlands airing since 2013. The station champions alternative and independent pop artists, with hundreds of thousands of unique listeners each month.
“I could not believe it! I did not think that we made it into the Top 3, let alone number #1. This just shows how incredibly supportive my fans are. They are the reason that I am able to keep making music,” said the 23-year-old multiple award-winning performer who also successfully juggles her music career while managing her role as the advisor of the social business and international youth movement, Ascendance, as well as her student life as an undergraduate at Harvard University.

Since its release last year, ‘Feel Alive’ has been played on radio stations around the globe, including in Scotland, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Brunei, Denmark, Spain, Malaysia and now in the Netherlands. The song was also crowned Best Song of the Month by SongwriterUniverse, Los Angeles. With the overwhelming response, ‘Feel Alive’ was re-released as a Bahasa Malaysia version as a tribute to our country, Malaysia.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of her first album which is currently in mid-production and will be released in the second half of this year.
