The one-hour show was hosted by Suresh from Malaysia’s leading Tamil-language station, Raaga, and featured Asu alongside popular stand-up comedian, Hindra Bose and another rising stand-up comedian, Piravina Ragunathan.

When asked about his parent’s perception of his unconventional career, Asu said, “It doesn’t matter what work we do. All they want is to know if I am alright, if I can be independent and if I can earn enough to support myself and my family. But I need to keep communicating and update them about my progress and achievements.”
Over the past years, Asu has performed with top stand-up comedians like Harith Iskandar and Jason Leong and has also put on a show on international platforms like Indonesia, Cambodia and Australia. He was also one of the comedians to perform at the ‘Comedy for Change’ show for free in 2019 with some of Malaysia’s biggest comedians, Kavin Jay and famous YouTuber, Vikar from VikarWorld.
