30TH AUGUST 2022, KUALA LUMPUR – The latest single, ‘Peter Pan’ from pop-songstress Heerraa, brings back nostalgic memories and hopes of discovering the magical land, Neverland. In this heartfelt soft-pop song, Heerraa describes its theme as never growing up and finding a magical place where we are all happy.
The 23-year-old ICon Award winner reminisces that one night many years ago when she first wrote the song staring out her window. “16-year-old me would be so proud to see how far our song, ‘Peter Pan’, has come. I am so happy to finally share this song with the world,” said Heerraa.
The sixth and final track in Heerraa’s upcoming debut album supported by Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA) and ET Ideas, ‘Peter Pan’ shows her versatility as an artist, adding to her multi-genre repertoire.

Quickly becoming a fan favourite, ‘Peter Pan’s exquisite album art was designed by a 20-year-old graphic designer from Ascendance, Vinishyaa Sugumar. MAP Music also played their role in recording the song and also as the song’s arranger.
Over the past few months, we have seen Heerraa grow as an artist, releasing her first R&B song (Attention Island), recording her first Ballad (Fall In) and even self-producing her synthpop song (Wonder).
Juggling her classes at Harvard and her responsibilities as the newly appointed Director of Communications for Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA), Heerraa credits her supportive team, Ascendance and her fans for continuously inspiring her to release positive-infused music.
